How do I book an appointment?

The fastest way is by phone or by sending a message on Instagram (@viafizio). You can also fill out the contact form on the site — we get back to you during working hours. No preparation or documentation is needed for the first contact.

What happens at the first visit?

We start with a conversation: where it hurts, how long it has lasted, what came before it, whether it returns after brief relief. Then comes an assessment of movement and function. Based on that, we explain the cause and suggest a treatment plan — before starting any treatment. If you have previous findings or scans, bring them — they're useful, but not a requirement.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. Via Fizio is a private center and you can come directly, without a referral and without waiting in line. We carry out the assessment ourselves, based on a conversation and a physical examination.

How many therapy sessions will I need?

It depends on the condition and how your body responds. Acute issues are often resolved in 3–6 sessions. Chronic problems that have lasted for months usually require a longer plan. With shockwave protocols, the standard series is 3–5 sessions, and the full effect continues to build for 6–8 weeks after the series ends. After the first check-up we give you a realistic estimate — not a round number off the top of our heads.

Does shockwave therapy hurt?

During the treatment you feel intense pressure and vibration in the treated area — discomfort is normal and stops as soon as the device is moved away. After the session, a short-term increase in pain is possible for 24–48 hours, which is a normal tissue response to stimulation, not a sign that something went wrong. Most clients tolerate the full protocol without any problems.

Can I come in for prevention, not just when something hurts?

Yes. Besides acute and chronic pain, we also work with athletes and active people who want to prevent injuries, improve mobility or speed up recovery between training sessions. Assessing the state of your body before a problem escalates always makes sense.

Do you only do massage?

No. Massage is one of the methods, but on its own it rarely resolves the cause of pain — most often it only quiets the symptom temporarily. Depending on the condition, we combine manual techniques, dry needling, FMK, shockwave, physical therapy and other modalities. What gets used, and in what combination, depends on the assessment — not on a template.
